Equities are pushing down a bit today, but not much and still well within the base it’s been in for a couple weeks. I’ll take the baskets at face value.
USD – N – This pushed up a good amount this morning, but failed at some resistance and gave back about half of it’s gains. It doesn’t look like it has much more strength behind it today, so I’ll hold off
CAD – N – After the good-sized drop yesterday, this looks like it tried to rally this morning, but failed. It’s still up on the day, but sitting near the open. I don’t like this to either direction so I’ll hold off
EUR – N – Same as yesterday
GBP – N – This is up a good amount today and up for the second day in a row, but it’s currently stalled at some resistance and doesn’t look like it’s about to take out those levels (even if it does, there’s another pretty strong resistance area not too far outside of this one). I’ll hold off here for today
JPY – N – This is up a decent amount today (for JPY especially) and it did technically take out the highs of the base it’s been in for the last few days. That said, it’s already failed at another resistance area and this is definitely weak overall — not something I want to entertain to the long side right now. I’ll hold off here for today
AUD – N – This pushed down a good amount this morning, but unfortunately it already looks extended. It’s also stalled at a pretty major support level. I don’t think this is going to move much more today, so I’ll hold off
NZD – N – This is down a good amount this morning, too, but it doesn’t look quite as extended as AUD. There’s a pretty clear bear rally formed on the hourly chart, so I’ll see if there’s any opportunity to take this short
CHF – N – This is up a good amount today, but it’s stalled at some resistance from mid-April. Looking at the hourly chart, it looks like it’s basing around that area a bit, and could have more upside potential? I’ll take a look but I may not pull the trigger
