Forex Analysis | April 15, 2020

I don’t know what happened, but I didn’t wake up until 9:45 this morning…….. We’ll see how today goes..

USD – S/N – This spiked overnight. I’m going to hold off on this until it either proves out to be a reversal, and it continues up, or it reverses and heads back to the downside

CAD – N – This broke below the small base it was forming, but it’s now stopped out at some support. I still don’t really like this, so I’m going to continue to hold off on trading CAD

EUR – S/N – This spiked, too, but is now on it’s second up-day. This still isn’t enough for me to want to take it long, though, so I’ll hold off

Today’s Pairs

EUR/AUD – Short

EUR/GBP – Short

GBP/USD – Long

GBP – L/N – This is on it’s 3rd up-day, and it broke out of the base that It’s been in. that said, it’s pulled back pretty far from that high, so I’m a little cautious here. We’ll see if there are any setups that look appealing

JPY – N – This is up today, too, but again, it’s not really showing me something that makes me believe that the trend has reversed and it’s going to head up soon. I’ll hold off on this for a bit, too

AUD – L/N – This dropped today, but stalled out at some support and rallied a little. This drop could be the makings of a good entry point for when this heads back up (and, for that matter, the same thing could be said about EUR and USD (but the opposite) so I changed their “ratings” too). We’ll see what the charts look like

NZD – N – This spiked down today, too, but for the last few days, I haven’t really been able to get a pulse on where this wants to head, and today’s no different. I’m going to need to see more confirmation from this before I pull the trigger in NZD

CHF – N – Same as EUR (still). Only difference is EUR’s price is coming back off of the highs a little and this looks a little more sustained, so I’ll hold off
