Forex Analysis | March 31, 2020

A little hung over again…. Tired of this, but whatever. It hasn’t really affected my trading, but I’m still tired of feeling like this damn-near every morning. I’ll figure something out. Money first

USD – N – This is on another up-day but it’s not very strong. It made a higher high than yesterday, but not a higher high from the previous day. I still don’t think this is enough to take it long, so I’m going to leave it alone

CAD – S/N – This is down again today, but it’s pushed lower already and is sitting near it’s open, and up against some support. I’ll look at charts for opportunities to short this, but since It’s pulled back pretty far already, I won’t chase

Today’s Pairs

GBP/CAD – Long

GBP/NZD – Long

EUR – N – After being technically down 3 days in a row (but still staying in a range/base), this is up a little today. Even with the three down days, I didn’t love this to the downside, and there’s not enough evidence suggesting a reversal, so I’m going to leave this alone

GBP – L – This pushed through yesterday’s highs and is somewhat stuck at some resistance. If it can push through this level, I really like this to the upside. I’ll look for opportunities to take this long today

JPY – N – This is up a bit today, but isn’t even breaking to highs higher than 3 days ago. This doesn’t look like it’s reversing to me, yet, so I’m going to leave this alone for today

AUD – N – I’m neutral here for today, but I think I’ll be bullish again when it swings back to the upside. It’s been steadily strong for the last nearly 2 weeks, and this looks to me to just be a pullback before the bull move continues. I’ll hold off for now, but I’ll keep my eye out for an opportunity to take this long later today/tomorrow

NZD – S/N – Similar to AUD, but the up-move wasn’t as strong, so this down-move looks like it could be a decent sized bear run. I’m a little hesitant here since NZD and AUD often follow each other a little, so I don’t want to short this, while I’m somewhat bullish AUD, but if it breaks support, this could be a good opportunity. I’ll look at a chart or 2, but I won’t chase

CHF – N – This is in a base. I don’t want to touch this until it proves out a move in one direction or the other
